Our Core Services

All of our core services are individually tailored to the needs of our clients, and include:

Career Management

Surprisingly, a large proportion of the working population doesn’t do it! Whether it’s because we’re happy to ‘go with the flow’ and remain within the comfort zone that our current employer provides, or perhaps it’s because we don’t appreciate our true value at work. Career Professionals’ Career Management Programme will help individuals draw up a clearly defined action plan to map out the way forward.

This is achieved by combining self assessment tools, psychometric assessment and structured meetings with one of Career Professionals’ expert career consultants.

Career Transition

Organisations are constantly evolving, competing, relocating, merging or acquiring, and any one of these can result in a restructuring, reshaping, downsizing or even closure. Inevitably, there are individuals who are directly affected by the impact of these changes. For some, it’s welcome news, but for most it’s a time of worry and anxiety, change and opportunity.

Career Professionals’ Career Transition Programmes are designed to aid individuals who are facing redundancy by partnering them and by providing practical help and guidance.

Career Transition Programmes
may be delivered in a group or on a 1:1 basis, offering a flexible approach to both time and to location.

Performance Coaching

Organisations often claim that their employees are their greatest asset – and they’re right. Career Professionals recognises this by offering a variety of programmes designed to maximise and develop the talent that exists within organisations. Our coaches work with individuals on a variety of assignments, including high performance coaching and ’onboarding’ with senior executives who have recently gained promotion, or who have been appointed to a role within a new organisation.

Our Specialist Programmes

We aim to work closely with our clients to meet their specific needs. A range of specialist programmes that have been devised and tailored include:-

Supporting Individuals Back Into The Workplace

The most common reasons for extended absences from work include maternity leave, long-term sickness, various compassionate reasons, or even a sabbatical. Whichever, employers need to maintain an open dialogue with their absent employees, and their employees with their managers and colleagues.

During these times, individuals can often feel remote and cut off from what’s happening within their organisation. Introducing our support programme will lead to strengthened relationships and enhanced communication.

One reason for an extended absence from work is the birth of a child, and during this life changing event mothers often reassess their career options. It is at this time that Career Professionals can provide balanced input to help individuals with these considerations and to manage their expectations, and either to help prepare them for their return to work (albeit full-time or part-time), or to assess the alternatives.

Similarly, Career Professionals can partner employers by providing the link between the organisation and those of its employees who are away from work on extended absence, especially with those who will be returning to the workplace.

“Third Age” Options

As the baby boomer generation moves towards retirement and with health and medical knowledge increasing, individuals can look towards a longer and healthier retirement. Maybe up to one-third of people’s lives could be lived in a post-work environment. The majority of people who decide to continue working through their “third age” remain within their previous working sectors.

Career Professionals’ Third Age Options Programme is designed to cater for people who want to do something different, but still desire roles that can maximise their satisfaction by building on their skills and experience. We recognise that individuals may no longer require full-time or even paid work, but still want to feel involved in an organisation and be able to make a meaningful contribution.
